The most offensive part of the White House's advocacy for this thing is outright blatant lying to the American people that there is something in here that constitutes "victory." If there is anything that damages President Obama's and this administrations credibility, it is this.
There is nothing in this victory that will put people back to work. In fact, it will do the opposite and increase the chances of continued recession. There is nothing in this victory that will save any one from losing their home, or pulling their home out from under water. In fact, it will do the opposite and make it worse. A "victory for the economy???" I would laugh if I didn't think they were serious.
Look, I don't understand how a President of the United States could so fecklessly fuck up a winning hand, but President Obama has shown a consistent ability to fuck up a winning hand. I can swallow that. I'm a Knicks fan. But please, don't insult my intelligence and piss me off even more by telling me that this colossal example of policy failure and political malpractice is a fucking victory. At least have the fucking integrity to admit you fucked up.
